AX-1 FINAL VIEW

What can I say ..... Those are the final pictures , that I took at June 24  2008.

I manage to add every last detail , on my touring ready motorcycle , just one week before my first long distance touring ride , in a place called as Kranea Elassonas , at 1100m or even a bit more altitude . (pictures will be added at the touring section)

I got  GPS – PDA ( HP rx5915) , helmet speakers , tank bag ,  even 12V external socket  (car lighter )  .

I made this AX-1 the ultimate dream machine ...
Now I only wish , that God will keep me healthy and safe , so to enjoy it .

Repair Log , after the rebuild  (10 May 2007 )

Battery replacement  ordered .

The Bosch battery started failing ,  the over all  poor perforce of the Battery , as is only 50 C.C.A.  ( lower than the 80 C.C.A.  Yuasa specs ) , made this battery a troublesome item , specially  after the first year of operation.

New  Yuasa YTZ7S Japan made , ordered  ( with the amazing 130 C.C.A. ) ,  the lowest pricing  found on eBAy , are 80 EUR with shipping to Greece , from an UK seller .

Starter brushes got replaced , brushes service point limit reached . (Usage 6-7 starting sessions ) Daily

Rear brake pads got replaced , again with Goldfren 071 AD , the brake discs had minimum wear signs with them.

Life cycle of the old 9.800 Km

Interesting remark : Front pads have still 75% life in them.

Wheel ball bearings started to show marks of wear, some pulses travel to the side rubber steps , plus  some soft cracking noises comes from them. 

I have order new  SKF , and from the side of the sprocket, one KOYO Japan.        As one more advanced choice .

Life cycle of the old 10.000 Km    (currently 10.180 with small issues) , this week i will add the new ones .
