PARTS & UPDATES
There few AX-1 parts , that can be exchanged with parts from other Honda models , or even other brands.
The last six months , I am looking to find, all this alternative options, so to help my self and others.
Other than parts , here are listed and some other upgrades ..

CBR 600 F6 Chain adjuster

YES !! that’s chromed ones :-)
The CBR bolts does not work on AX-1 , they are 6 or 7 mm .
The AX-1 needs bolts with 5 mm thread , that’s why I ended up to use galvanized cross head bolt with Stanley steel bits (double nuts, pushing against its other as lock point) .
The old lasted for 19 years ... GOOD BYE .. RUST
The ones from the CBR are more strong and chromed .. The center hole diameter is a bit more large , but still compatible.

The old Honda brake lever spring in the above picture, got replaced with new .
SUZUKI R6 2008 Brake lever spring .
Because of the new Allen bolts , I ordered two special Allen Hex sets .... One American metric extra long ( Protanium steel )

And another one, by the well trusted in EU DRAPER
DRAPER 10pc HEX ALLEN KEY SET (chrome vanadium) .
Magnetic oil bolt ( plug ) M12-1.5

No ... it was not easy, to do the conversion and the installation .
But ... what was easy until now ??

Good quality item , I could say the best , but it has low quality adhesive , I had to spend money on getting better quality double side tape adhesive for a proper mounting.
PYRAMID FENDA EXTENDA Honda NVT600-750
Before two weeks , I have see on EBAY this part for the Honda NVT600-750 (95, 96) Part no : 05105
By looking the motorcycle in a picture I noticed tremendous similarity with the frond fender of the AX-1 , I am talking about over 90% confidence that it will work.
I order the part instantly , and now that I got it on , nothing in earth can take my smile away .
Installation ... 7 Nov 2008
The part that I got was New ( Old stock) the adhesive was over aged , but I did not care , I liked to be bolt on, and started the work .
The rear bolts are aluminum, and had them there from the old fender flap, the side bolts are A2 Stanley steel 5 mm Hex Allen with nuts , covered with plastic caps.
I did trim it a bit , I removed the fender for easy access, and bolt the part on .
At the inner side I did install some common silicon, so to fill very small gaps , and make the fender with the extender as one body, my theory are to stop any possible leak of dirty water from the inner of the fender , to the outer part.
Lets enjoy the finished product for a min. !! :-)

with Stanley Steel Nut lock bits.

2007-2008 Summarization and the rebuild cost !!
I will divide my answer in two parts .
1) The personal labor , the hunting on EBAY for parts, the ability to make unevenly items to cooperate at 100% , its not something that money can do that , its a talent.

This AX-1 are full loaded with everything that even the most demanding one will ask .. or wish to have.
There is no more upgrades for it , the year 2008 was a nice testing period, any mishit got permanent corrected .
And all that I wish are, me and the AX-1, to be healthy and strong .
