What I will present here, is my really last major project , after of allot of search , I found this rack , that looks to me as the most compatible side rack .
This rack is from SUZUKI Bandit , and its two independent items that they sold separately, but in the auction it was both as set .
Both cost new as 225€ = 358$ .
Its made by the German brand “ Five Stars” ultimate quality stuff, Givi-Kappa compatible.

The side rack cost alone as 114,95€...Item No 10022225
The top rack as 109,95 € ................Item No 10022683
The center tubular has 19mm diameter , and 2,5mm thickness.
The side tubular has 14 mm diameter , and 2,5mm thickness
The total contraction weights about 6.7 kilos . ( At the NX we do not need all the metal parts of this rack other than the three large items. By this way the final weight is about 5.5 kilos.
No one, ever made, a side rack for the NX 250 , but this one looks to be very promising, and with few modifications , it will become NX250 compatible.
This project is another challenge for me , but the final upcome it will offer me the ability to carry two 21L side cases , that I really need as extra space.

First .. test installation .
There is only one support point from the four , that mounts correctly , with out modifications .
At the center piece , I had to cut the main pipes a bit so to be able even to start the testing installation . The left overs was used again as support points ... watch the pictures and you will see what I am talking about.

OK lets stop here ... In this picture is the center piece with all the modifications ready , and painted with primer . The paint spray, are to be used at the end, for the final paint job.
If you ever get this rack , with my pictures , you will totally understand , what you have to do as cutting , and cutting points.
Support point No 3 in place ..
Well this support point was the most tricky one ..
I had to visit a friend , and design from scratch this part with CAM software , at the end, with the use of a laser cutting unit (By Bystronic), we made the two brackets.
This brackets replaced the original side brackets, and got welded at the same spot.
Here is the draw from the CAM software ...
The metal plate thickness are 4 mm ( ultra strong stuff).
